A Fun-Filled Celebration Of Star Wars

What a day May the 4th 2020 was. As expected, so many incredible creators dropped amazing content to celebrate this magnificent franchise – it was a joy to watch and be a part of as fans, first-and-foremost, and also as creators ourselves.

Our early morning appearance on Breakfast with Ben and Sonia on BBC Essex can be heard here. To be invited on to the show was great and an honour as it always is – and provided a banter-filled start to the day attempting to convince Sonia that Star Wars was well worth her time!

Disney+ helped us along with Victory and Death, the finale of The Clone Wars Season Seven and the end of the entire series as a whole, and the first episode of Disney Gallery: The Mandalorian, giving us a great peak behind the curtain into the minds of the directors behind the first season.

We also had the pleasure of being interviewed by Joseph Kime for Zavvi for our thoughts on the Star Wars fandom and why it really is so awesome. We met Joseph at MCM Comic Con and he makes for a dashing scoundrel (cosplay or not) – check out the article here.

Our friends over at Hasbro sent us a beautiful gift to celebrate the fortieth anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back – ten Kenner Black Series figures, backdrops to display with them and presented in a stunning box adorned with everybody’s favourite Sith Lord on. Check them out here. Thanks again to our friends at Hasbro for sending these.

We ended the day with our first ever live-streamed show – a special Star Wars Insta Live Session. It was great to be able to interact with fans and listeners in real time via the comments and incoming calls. It was a great experience, one we’d love to do again in the near future so thanks to everyone who jumped on and helped make the experience what it was.

We hope you all had a great day celebrating Star Wars and thanks to all for making it so spicy!
